Path of Exile's itemization is one of its most complex and rewarding aspects, but also one that is constantly under scrutiny. With Path of Exile 3.26 on the horizon, and how those changes could shake up the economy and the value of PoE Currency.
The Introduction of "Fractured" or "Influenced" Bases on More Item Types:
Currently, Fractured and Influenced items are extremely valuable due to their crafting potential. My prediction is that GGG will expand the availability of these bases to a wider range of item types, perhaps even including jewels or flasks. This would open up new avenues for crafting and create new demand for specific base types, potentially impacting the prices of these bases traded with PoE Currency. This would also diversify the crafting landscape, allowing for more specialized builds and strategies.
A Rework of Item Affixes: Introducing New Mods or Changing Existing Ones:
Item affixes are the lifeblood of Path of Exile's itemization. I predict that we'll see a significant rework of existing affixes, potentially with the introduction of new modifiers or the rebalancing of existing ones. This could lead to a complete upheaval of the item meta as players scramble to understand the new power dynamics. Some old mods will become much less valuable while others gain in demand. These shifts will be reflected in the PoE Currency market. The value of specific affixes and the items that possess them will fluctuate wildly.
A Change to the Way Item Drops are Calculated (Less "Clutter", More "Quality"):
GGG has often discussed the issue of "item clutter" in Path of Exile, where players are overwhelmed by the sheer volume of drops. My prediction is that we'll see a change to the way item drops are calculated, potentially with a focus on dropping fewer items overall but with a higher chance of those items being valuable. Instead of endless white and blue gears, players will see fewer but more rare and valuable drops. This rebalance would, in theory, stabilize the PoE Currency market. It would reduce the time players spend IDing useless items and increase the average value of each drop. The new updates about Diablo 4,please follow https://www.u4gm.com/diablo-4-items
